Children's Ministry Leader

Location: Converge Life Church, Aldie, Virginia
Position Type: Part-Time, 20 hours per week (12-month contract, with potential for renewal)

Converge Life Church is seeking a passionate and dedicated Children's Ministry Leader to oversee and develop our ministry for children from birth through 6th grade. This part-time role focuses on fostering spiritual growth, engaging families, and creating a fun, Christ-centered environment for kids to know, love, and follow Jesus.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Program Development:
-Develop and lead an engaging, age-appropriate children's ministry program, including Sunday services, events, and outreach activities.
-Recruit, train, and oversee a team of volunteers who are passionate about working with children.
-Select and implement curriculum that aligns with the mission and vision of Converge Life Church.
-Plan and execute special events, such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), family nights, and holiday programs.

Spiritual Growth & Family Engagement:
-Foster a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow in their faith.
-Build relationships with children and their families, encouraging involvement in church life.
-Partner with parents to provide resources and support for spiritual growth at home.

Administrative Responsibilities:
-Schedule and coordinate volunteer teams for children's ministry activities.
-Maintain clear communication with staff, volunteers, and parents.
-Ensure compliance with all child safety and security policies, including background checks for volunteers.
